JOB TITLE: Youth Independent Living Advisor (ILA)
PRIMARY OFFICE: Boulder
FLSA/EMPLOYEE STATUS: Full-Time (32 hrs./wk.; 4 days/wk.); Non-exempt
PAY & BENEFITS: $22-$25/hr. and benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and accident insurance; Employee Assistance Programs (EAP); 401(k); vacation time, holidays, sick time, and personal days.

SUMMARY: This position will focus on providing employment and Independent Living services to youth with disabilities ages 14 to 24 but may also work with consumers of all ages, as needed Services may include: individual and systems advocacy, Independent Living skills training, information and referral services, and peer support to individuals and groups of youth and/or parents of youth with disabilities. The individual in this position will serve as a role model and mentor for people with disabilities within the community, and maintain positive and effective relationships with CPWD staff and partner agencies. Though primarily based out of CPWD’s Boulder Office, the Youth ILA will provide services to all consumers within all of CPWD’s covered counties.

PRIMARY OFFICE: Boulder or Thornton (employee’s choice)
FLSA/EMPLOYEE STATUS: Part-Time (20 hrs./wk.); Non-exempt
PAY & BENEFITS: $19-$21/hr. and benefits include; Employee Assistance Program (EAP); 401(k); vacation time, holidays, sick time and personal days.

SUMMARY: Implements the Beyond Vision program for people with visual impairments or blindness by facilitating low-vision support groups, providing one-on-one skills training, and meeting outreach goals. The individual in this position will serve as a role model and mentor for people with disabilities within the community, and maintain positive and effective relationships with CPWD staff and partner agencies. Primarily provides Beyond Vision services to the Denver Metro region but may also need to serve the Boulder County region, as needed
