Patricia Yeager
Formerly the executive director of the California Foundation for Independent Living Centers in Sacramento, Patricia Yeager has had a distinguished career as an advocate for persons with disabilities. She has been active in the disability civil rights movement for 30 years, promoting access to higher education in Pittsburgh and Denver, shaping public policies in Denver and California, as well as developing and implementing services at ILCs in Denver and San Diego.
Hearing impaired since the age of two, Patricia earned her M.S. in Rehabilitation Counseling from West Virginia University, her home state. She recently moved back to Colorado to pursue her PhD studies in Human Rehabilitation at the University of Northern Colorado.
